Nayanjot Lahiri
Nayanjot Lahiri is a historian and archaeologist of ancient India and a professor of history at Ashoka University.[1] She was previously on the faculty of the department of history at the University of Delhi.[2]
She is the winner of the 2013 Infosys Prize, in the humanities, for her work in archaeology[3][4] and the 2016 awardee of the John F. Richards prize for her book Ashoka in Ancient India.[5]
