Dudley Narborough
The Rev Frederick Dudley Vaughan Narborough (1895–1966)[1] was an eminent Anglican Bishop in the mid-twentieth century.[2]
Educated at Norwich School and Worcester College, Oxford he was ordained in 1922 and began his ecclesiastical career as Chaplain at his old college.[3] After this he was Resident Chaplain to the Archbishop of Canterbury, a Canon Residentiary at Bristol Cathedral[4] and then Provost of Southwark Cathedral[5] before a 20-year spell as Bishop of Colchester.[6]
